High Quality Servicing In Cadnam, Southampton
Regularly servicing your vehicle helps keep you safe on the road. Though not a legal requirement, the routine check-up is a sure-fire way to prevent costly faults.
Information about how regularly you should service your vehicle can be found in its handbook. Servicing is typically a condition of warranties and lease agreements, so it’s worth checking how often it is required. Depending on the manufacturer, this could be every year or between 10,000 – 20,000 miles.
What is checked during a service?
As a member of the Good Garage Scheme, it doesn’t matter if you have an interim, full, or service ‘as per manufacturer’ on your car, we offer all customers a clear description of what has been carried out.
When the work is complete, we will provide customers with a checklist report detailing what has been done during the service. This is proof of what has been performed and acts as a Guarantee.
If you are unsure of any item on the checklist, please speak with one of our technicians.
Remember, regular servicing will help minimise costly and unexpected repairs.
Please call us for more details/advice on which service is right for you.
How long will a service take?
An interim service typically takes around 1 hour and a full service can take up to 2.5 hours dependant on make and model of vehicle. You can pass the time at Dobbies Garden Centre which is situated directly opposite the garage. If repairs are needed and are likely to take more than a day we can provide a courtesy car, insurance subject to availability.
How much does a service cost?
It’s worth noting that if you purchased your vehicle from a main dealer, it doesn’t have to be serviced there in order to satisfy the warranty. A service can be carried out by us as long as the service follows main dealer specifications.
